Ken and Brenda Jackson

Ken and Brenda Jackson serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators.

For a number of years they have been working on a unique and strategic concept Video Audio Strategy for Translation (VAST).

Last year Ken and Brenda did a pilot project with a language in Guyana called Carib.  Carib was a pretty big challenge because it does not yet exist in written form.  However, the Lord provided a copy of the Jesus film in another dialect of Carib located in Surinam, and a Carib Surinam lady with translation experience was able to join them to help Ken and Brenda with the project.  So, in the process of two three-week trips and with the help of Campus Crusade’s “Jesus Film” team, Ken and Brenda were able to provide the Caribs with the “Jesus Film” in their language for the very first time.  Many of these people still cannot read or write, so bringing the Gospel to them was a tremendously rewarding experience!
