Belcroft believes that loving our neighbor includes explaining how they can have eternal life and sharing our material blessings with them.
LOCAL EVANGELISM
We run a Good News Club during the school year at the Crofton Woods Elementary School. We hold 5-Day Clubs in homes during the summer. We do door-to-door literature distribution. We support Christ On The (National) Mall. We sponsor a Screen On The Green, a Harvest Party, and a Christmas Program, all of which are outreach-oriented.
FEEDING AND CLOTHING THE HOMELESS
The first Saturday of each month, the Belcroft H.O.P.E. Community teams up with Praise and Thunder Ministries to feed the homeless in Washington DC at McPherson Square. If you may be interested in going to McPherson Square with us, be sure to contact Owen Cooper at 410-674-6145. You can help cook for 100 men, or hand out clothing and toiletries, or share the Gospel.
FOOD AND CLOTHING COLLECTION
We have a collection box in the church foyer. If you donate food in quantities that can be served to 100 men, we will cook and serve it to the DC homeless. We include a list of needs once a month in the church bulletin. If you donate adult clothes and toiletries, we will distribute them to the DC homeless. On the Friday before the first Saturday of each month, we meet to sort clothing.
