What to Expect

We know it’s not always easy visiting a church for the first time. At Belcroft Bible Church we want your visit to be as comfortable as possible. Here are are some questions that may (have) come to mind in anticipation of attending a morning service:

What should I wear?
Although this may not be important to some, others want to begin their visit by preparing what they will wear. Believing that God looks at the heart, not at our clothes, you should wear whatever is comfortable for you. You will find some people dressed in “Sunday best” while others come in jeans or shorts.

Where do I park?
When you drive into the parking lot you will notice that handicap and visitor parking spaces are marked and conveniently located near the main entrance. If you are a visitor, feel free to park in one of the marked visitor spots.

Will I be conspicuous?
That is up to you. We have Welcomers who are ready to give you any information you may need. We also use the beginning of the service to stand up and greet others, but if you would rather go unnoticed, that’s okay, too. No one will ask you to stand up or introduce yourself during the service.

Will the people be unfriendly or too friendly?
Our desire is to strike a good balance but you can count on someone saying hello and introducing themselves to welcome you.

Will they ask me for money?
At Belcroft Bible Church we do not ask our guests for money. The worship service is our gift to you. Whether you put something into the offering plate is up to you.

Will I still be welcome if I don’t believe the same things?
You will be welcome no matter what you believe. We are all on a life journey and want to encourage each other as we travel together. It is our hope that you will find a true relationship with God through Jesus Christ. This is the place to ask questions, to get to know what the Bible says, to meet followers of Jesus.

What if Belcroft Bible Church is not for me?
If you find that Belcroft Bible Church is not the place for you, our prayer is that you will find the right church connection. While you will always be welcome here, we will be happy to give you some suggestions of other churches in the area, so please don’t hesitate to ask us.
